Program Outcomes

Students engaged in the Leadership Laureates Program will:

  • Be able to understand the history and philosophy of service.
  • Be able to understand, analyze, and engage in problem-solving related to community issues and service.
  • Be able to research, design, and implement a sustainable service project or program.
  • Be able to understand and apply key leadership theories.
  • Be able to understand and articulate critical international issues.
  • Become culturally competent (or increase their cultural competency).
  • Be able to connect the dots of their myriad Laureates’ experiences.
  • Complete a portfolio and/or visual representation of the work that they have accomplished in the program.
  • Give and receive mentoring as they consider their future endeavors.
  • Have the opportunity to leave a personal legacy at Wake Forest, in the local community, or in the world.
  • Have a portfolio prepared to show potential employers or graduate school programs what they have accomplished through the program.
  • Have the opportunity to learn from other students in the program.
  • Become more actively engaged citizens.
  • Have the opportunity to work with and get to know faculty and staff who participate in the program as well.
