All hours must be logged by April 1st. The winning organization will receive a plaque. Additionally, a $500 donation will be made in the organization’s name to a non-profit organization of their choice. This award will be given away starting in 2011.
Christman Award for Service
The Christman Award is presented to a graduating senior who has most exemplified the Pro Humanitate motto during their time at Wake Forest. This is the highest service honor that a student can receive. Students do not have to be on the Honor Roll or a Service Excellence Award winner to receive this award. A call for nominations will be sent to students, faculty, and staff in the middle of the spring semester, and a committee will select the recipient. The award will be presented at the end of the year banquet and at the senior awards day during Commencement weekend. The recipient will receive $250, and a $750 donation will be made to their non-profit agency of choice. They will also receive a plaque, and their name will be placed on the plaque that is permanently hanging in the Volunteer Service Corps Office.
